Designer | REALTOR
An interior designer, developer, and real estate professional based in Houston, with New Orleans soul and a Los Angeles edge. My family owned commercial real estate in New Orleans, so I grew up around properties, architecture, and the possibilities of transformation. But it was the city itself that shaped my eye: the history, the rich textures, and the way a little decadence can feel perfectly at home. Designing in Los Angeles brought a different energy to that foundation, blending my Southern appreciation for character and tradition with West Coast ease and a willingness to push boundaries.
Meggan D. Johnson
Designer | STAGER
An interior designer with an artist’s eye and a firm belief that beautiful spaces should never be boring. I started drawing at five, was winning art competitions by middle school, and spent my teenage years creating costumes, sets, and art displays for school and church productions. Long before design became my profession, I was discovering how color, texture, and a little imagination could completely change the way a space feels. That passion led to an art scholarship and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design and Art History from Syracuse University, where I studied everything from space planning and textile design to color theory and the history behind the details.
My career began as a design consultant for Storehouse Furniture, followed by visual merchandising for furniture and retail stores, where I learned to create spaces that could stop people in their tracks. In 2007, I launched my own staging company, which grew into residential interior design and finish selections. That evolution brought together everything I love: the art of composition, the possibilities of a space, and the satisfaction of making every element work beautifully together.
Through Impressione Design, we bring those influences together to create residential and commercial spaces that have something to say. Our experience in construction, development, and real estate keeps the vision grounded, while our love of unexpected combinations keeps it interesting. we are drawn to the antique that gives a modern room its soul, the bold material that makes you look twice, and the details you feel before you notice.
